Department of Pharmacology
The Department of pharmacology is equipped with all the required instruments to carry out the research activities by the students. In the department of Pharmacology, we learn about the action of various drugs on the living tissues and then this knowledge is extended to the treatment of various diseases and disorders. The Department of Pharmacology is also handling Anatomy and physiology. Pharmacology is a subject, which connects the other disciplines of pharmaceutical sciences with medicine.
Pharmacology is the study of how drugs affect the body and how the body affects drugs. Pharmacology is one of the most exciting areas of biomedical research because you can have a real impact on human health while working in the lab. Pharmacology is multidisciplinary, bringing together ideas from chemistry, biochemistry, cell biology and integrative biology to create a comprehensive framework for understanding and treating disease.
